Welcome to Dockery Destinations!

I’m Deb Dockery, president of the company. Also, I am proud to be an independent travel advisor with Largay Travel and affiliated with Virtuoso, the world’s largest luxury travel network. Whether your travel is around the corner or around the world, it would be my honor to be your travel concierge.

I truly enjoy working with my clients and helping their travel dreams come true. Lately, I’ve been working with many European cruise clients. They have been fun to work with. Cruising is a great way to see a large area in a short period of time.

One thing that I pride myself on is my clients become my friends. I become invested in them. Their families. Their lives. I want my clients to have to most incredible escape, whether it’s for their honeymoon, a family reunion, a solo trip, or just to see what’s out there. And…. there’s so much out there! Ever thought about Antarctica? I have suppliers who are doing WEDDINGS in Antarctica! What about a trip to the Galapagos? Yes, I do that too! Bora Bora? So amazing that they say it twice.

I work with the most amazing people every single day. My clients. I connect with my suppliers, and we collaborate and make the most beautiful trips. I’m just honored to work with such amazing people. And I would be honored to create a beautiful itinerary for you as well.

I remember the first time that I ever thought about travel. REAL travel. It was about 20 years ago. Yes, I just dated myself. Family friends had just returned from a trip to the Far East and were showing us their pictures.

I was fascinated!

They had pictures of the wife snuggled up with a Bengal Tiger. Riding an elephant! Interacting with the local people. I was mesmerized. That trip of theirs stuck in mind. I told myself…one day! But, I had young children and a career where I couldn’t possibly take off from work?

As I’ve aged (and my husband and children have too), time doesn’t wait. The gift of travel is one of the greatest gifts that you can give the people you love. And give to yourself. I look forward to seeing many pictures of many smiling faces from my clients from far away places. And maybe, I’ll have to take a trip (or two) with you as well.
